Asset Allocation and Investment Strategies
The main asset classes that should be considered are: equities, fixed-income, and cash. Each has different levels of risk and return, so each will behave differently over time.
There is no simple formula that can find the right asset allocation for every situation. However, our experience has shown that asset allocation is one of the most important decisions that investors make. In other words, the selection of individual securities is secondary to the way the asset classes of stocks, bonds, and cash are apportioned, which will be the principal determinant of your investment results.
We spend considerable time with you in an attempt to provide portfolio structures that address your age, risk appetite and investment objectives with an appropriate apportionment of the asset classes because individual clients require individual solutions.
Investment strategies can differ greatly from a rapid growth strategy, where an investor focuses on capital appreciation, to a safety strategy, where the focus is on wealth protection. The most important part of an investment strategy is that it aligns with your goals and is closely followed by us on your behalf.
