Mr. Haisman earned the professional credential of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. His investment philosophy is derived from his studies of Modern Portfolio Theory—focusing on building individual client portfolios that maximize profits per unit of investment risk. By utilizing low-cost, no commission investments held by an institutional custodian, Haisman Wealth Management, Inc. is able to implement investment strategies at quite reasonable cost.

Evan McGrath
Operations Manager
Evan has always wanted to help people and solve problems. After completing his bachelor’s degree at Alma College, he saw an opportunity to pursue this vision with a career in the financial services and insurance industry beginning with American Express Financial Advisors. He later embraced a position with Nationwide Retirement Solutions, which gave him the opportunity to further his education guiding governmental employees with their 457b and 401k plan investments with one-on-one meetings and seminars.
Still not satisfied with his broadening knowledge he educated himself on various other aspects of the insurance and investment industry so that he could continue helping others as a multi-lines insurance agent, offering home, business, auto, life and health insurance, as well as various financial and annuity services.
His expanding thirst for knowledge and experience also led him to become accomplished in tax preparation, which in turn has led him to pursue his next career objective of obtaining the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner designation.
Evan’s knowledge, experience and drive were noticed by Haisman Wealth Management, Inc. who was successful in employing him as the operations manager for the firm. He soon mastered the many responsibilities of that position to include managing all firm client operations to include complex paperwork, all client securities trading, reconciliation and firm revenue billings. His knowledge of information technology has resulted in his additional duties of website supervision and advisor to the firm on technology matters.
To quote Evan, “I am an ardent believer in the philosophy of fee-based client advice. Acting as a fiduciary when providing client advice puts the client first.”

Her duties quickly expanded to include customer relations, accounting, in-house sales, and job estimating.
As her skills and experience evolved, she moved into the graphics management, veterinary and construction fields, all the time organizing and coordinating a litany of office management duties.
Haisman Wealth Management, Inc. has been the fortunate benefactor of Laura’s skills and conviction of always assisting others to achieve their goals, whether it was co-workers or clients. With her experience and background, she soon mastered both the organizational and interpersonal skills to be a highly effective Office and Client Services Manager for the firm.
Continuing her desire to obtain the specialized knowledge of our firm, Laura completed the Registered Paraplanner, RP® course from the College for Financial Planning.

Ms. Haisman was fortunate yet challenged throughout her professional life because she was the first person to hold each of her professional positions during her career.
Each phase of her career required professional marketing and public relations, which prepared her for the special projects position at Haisman Wealth Management, Inc.
Ms. Haisman is responsible for client appreciation events, public relations, human resources and office management support.
